Award-Winning Engines

Two engines are available under the hood of the 2021 Grand Cherokee L. The standard engine is Jeep's 3.6L Pentastar V6 producing 290 horsepower and 257 lb-ft of torque. For those who like a little more power, there's also an available 5.7L V8 that kicks out 357 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque. The V6 provides those who haul with 6,200 lbs of towing capacity, while the V8 offers 7,200 lbs of towing capacity.

Legendary Jeep 4x4 Capability

In the past 80 years, Jeep has mass-produced some of the most capable off-road vehicles in the world. In recent years, they have perfected their off-road prowess. On the inside, the Grand Cherokee L feels like a luxury vehicle. But it certainly doesn't miss out on any of the Jeep fun! It actually improves upon Jeep's Trail Rated capability. The Grand Cherokee L comes with three available drivetrains, Quadra-Trac I, Quadra-Trac II, and Quadra-Drive II, with an electronic limited-slip rear differential. The transfer case in every drivetrain is designed to bring all of the available torque to the wheel with the most grip instantly when traction becomes limited. The Grand Cherokee L also boasts up to a towering 10.9 inches of ground clearance. This is thanks to the five height settings provided by Jeep's Quadra-Lift air suspension. The first setting is the Normal Ride Height of 8.3 inches of ground clearance. Off-Road 1 adds an extra 1.6 inches of ground clearance, while Off-Road II adds 2.4 inches. Park Mode lowers the suspension 1.8 inches from Normal Ride Height. Aero Mode reduces the ride height by .8 inches. The Selec-Terrain traction management system gives drivers even more control with five modes, Auto, Sport, Rock, Snow, and Sand/Mud.

Refined Design

The Jeep Grand Cherokee has always pushed the expectation people have of an SUV to new heights. The 2021 Grand Cherokee L is designed in the Grand Wagoneer's image with a longer hood and cabin, a forward-leaning hood, and a lowered roof. The front fascia has the iconic seven-slot grille surrounded by narrow pointed headlights, creating a fierce stare with elegant looks. The grille on the Grand Cherokee L is wider with larger slots and a more sleek trim. Inside, the Grand Cherokee L gives drivers and passengers a first-class luxury experience every time they step in. Upon entering, you'll find technology like a 10-inch infotainment touchscreen, a 10.25-inch frameless digital driver information display, a 19-speaker Mcintosh sound system, 12 total USB ports, and customizable interior LED lighting. For comfort and design features, the Grand Cherokee L offers quilted Palermo leather seats, waxed walnut wood accents, available heated and ventilated front and second-row seats, an available dual-pane panoramic moonroof, four-zone automatic climate control, available massage front seats, and so much more!
