2025 Ram 1500 Ohio

Ram continues to kick off its engine lineup with a 305-horsepower 3.6L V6 engine with 269 lb-ft of torque and an 8,100-pound maximum towing capacity. Meanwhile, the rest of the engine lineup is completely new for the 2025 model year. The first new engine replaces the previous generation's 5.7L HEMI V8 with a 3.0L twin-turbocharged inline-six engine. The smaller size of the engine uses less fuel compared to the larger V8 engine, while the two turbochargers allow for more power to the tune of 420 horsepower and 469 lb-ft of torque. Meanwhile, a high-output variant of this engine is available, offering 540 horsepower and 520 lb-ft of torque, pulling up to 11,560 pounds. The final available powertrain is exclusive to the all-new Ram 1500 Ramcharger. Ram's first plug-in hybrid, the Ramcharger, uses the aforementioned 3.6L V6 to send mechanical power to an onboard generator, which converts it into electrical energy to power the battery and wheels. This system delivers up to 663 horsepower and 615 lb-ft of torque for a maximum towing capacity of up to 14,000 pounds.

Ram made safety a priority when they took the Ram 1500 back to the drawing board for 2025. Offering more than 100 standard and available safety features, the 2025 Ram 1500 instills confidence that it can keep you and your occupants safe. Standard across the entire lineup, the Ram 1500 offers safety features like a high-strength steel frame for better impact absorption, six airbags, and seatbelt pre-tensioners. While these features offer great protection in the event of a collision, the best collision is one that is avoided altogether. That's why the Ram 1500 comes standard with driver assists like electronic stability control with roll mitigation, a backup camera with active grid lines, blindspot monitoring, forward collision mitigation, adaptive cruise control with stop and go, and more. Meanwhile, more driver assists are optional for most trims while standard at the higher trim levels. These include but are not limited to traffic sign recognition, drowsy driver detection, evasive steering assist, active lane management, parallel/perpendicular park assist, a digital rearview mirror, and Hands-Free Active Drive Assist. This system uses an array of cameras and sensors in conjunction with the adaptive cruise control and active lane management systems to automatically center the truck within its lane and maintain a set speed and distance from the leading vehicle without any driver input. 

The 2025 Ram 1500 kicks off a new generation, so there is a lot we could say about the new features. However, for the sake of time, we'll give you the highlights. Upon looking at the 2025 Ram 1500, you'll notice that, while the overall shape of the truck remains the same, there are a few new features that command a closer look. Most notably, the front fascia is upgraded. Not only is the grille enlarged in all directions, but it also leans forward for an intimidating posture. Adding to this aggressive look are reshaped headlights on either side of the grille, now housing standard LED bulbs across the lineup. At the rear, the taillights are reshaped, and now the entire lineup features a large 'RAM' script at the center of the tailgate, a feature that was only standard on select trims in the previous generation. Stepping inside, you'll find that the previously-optional 8.4-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen replaces the previous generation's standard 5-inch Uconnect 4 touchscreen, meanwhile, a 12-inch touchscreen is optional for all trims, while standard for the Laramie and Limited. The all-new Tungsten trim features a largest-in-class 14.5-inch touchscreen along with an exclusive 23-speaker Klipsch Reference Premier audio system, 24-way heated, ventilated, and massaging front seats, 21-inch alloy wheels, an all-new 10.25-inch front passenger touchscreen, and much more to take automotive luxury to breathtaking new heights.
