Buds was founded in September 1983 by Bud Schoenleben, a Celina native who followed his dream of opening a dealership that put customers first. What started as a Chevrolet-Oldsmobile-Buick store has grown into a multi-brand dealership group, expanding in 2005 to offer the legendary lineup of Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and RAM vehicles.
In 2008, Bud retired and entrusted the business to his son-in-law, Brian Holstad. Brian joined Buds in 2002 and worked his way through the dealership, gaining hands-on experience as a service writer, parts counter associate, and salesman to fully understand the business. His dedication to the company and its customers continues to drive Buds forward today. Even in retirement, Bud remains involved in the business sharing his wisdom and passion for the automotive industry.
Brian and his wife, Kassie, along with their three kids, also call Celina home, reinforcing their commitment to the community and the people they serve.
